Youth Ministry
Youth Group
Jr. & Sr. High Youth Ministry
Youth ages 12-18 are invited to be a part of this evening. Parents are welcome to stay and mentor as well. A normal night includes one hour of games, snacks and some free time and one hour of worship and Bible teaching. It is our goal to create fellowship, mentorship, and discipleship at a time where youth are figuring out who they are and what they believe.

Investing in Our Youth
At St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church parents, young adult leaders, and staff come alongside our youth. As we gather our expectation is to engage young people with the blessing of fun and the deep, spiritual nurture that comes through community and knowing Christ. We recognize that this is a time when they become their own people – beliefs, directions, relationships, life lessons, disappointments, elated experiences are all a crucial part of it.
We aim to have fun but do not minimize the importance of teaching and revealing Christ in our gathering. So we’ll start with group games, move into a time of teaching/learning, and usually end the night in small groups and prayer.
We also view the youth as a part of the church and not an appendage or separate organization; they are supported, loved, and guided as much as anyone else in the church. As such, our youth are not only consumers but content producers (they are involved in ministry, and they help shape ministry).
See you here.
